Course Overview

This course discusses the equipment that makes up the medical and surgical endoscopic video system workstations. The course will help you gain insight into the functionality of the system’s individual components and measure their critical nature to the success of the endoscopic procedure. The course will also help you gain insight into the circuitry and functionality of Olympus video system electronic equipment and provide you with in-depth troubleshooting techniques. Instructors will help you understand the process for acquiring support and returning your video systems back to proper operating conditions.

Learning Objective

  • Learn the wiring configuration and set-up of a properly operating video system workstation.
  • Learn about the compatibility of different equipment, and video ancillary components (monitors, printers).
  • Learn troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify causes of a problem: mis-cabling, equipment malfunctions, user error.
  • Learn how to repair/replace failed components.
  • Discuss the procedure for ordering parts.
  • Discuss the procedure for returning equipment for repair.

Measurement

Post-assessment exams will verify that the learning objectives have been met.

Certification

A certificate of completion will be sent to each participant within two weeks of completing the course.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel up to 30 calendar days prior to the start date of the course, you will receive a full refund of the course fee.
  • If you cancel within 14 calendar days of the course start date, you will receive a 50% refund of the course fee.
  • If you cancel less than 14 calendar days of the course start date, no refund will be issued.
